   Gas Supply Required

Question:  

Are there any gas pressure or any line (Gas Pipe) requirements we must meet and should we adapt in some fashion?

 Answer:

              I

In most of  the UK the natural gas supplied to domestic dwelling are  pressure tested when a meter is installed usually by the gas supplier. The kit is to be installed and tested by a qualified gas  installer on the Gas safety register

              Regarding gas pressure in other countries eg.USA. due to the size of the U.S.A. and some States having different requirements, Our Engineer personally visited houses in different States to check electricity and gas supplies.He also tested supplies, met with electrical engineers and visited a large manufacturer of electrical plugs and sockets that are fitted in kitchens to connect the ranges. Therefore any gas or electrical connection must be as required by the appliance, this is 220V electricity supply with 30A or 50A cable, depending on the Range to be used. Natural Gas supply in the USA must be 20mbar fed with half inch pipe work to the appliance for natural gas.

 

 

REGARDING LPG.

            

There are different requirements for L.P.G. (bottled / bulk propane supply). The half inch fitting at back of the Range is the same and in most cases normal LPG domestic pressures Are applicable. On occasions where the gas supply pressure was too high, we have supplied one of our exclusively designed gas regulators (see details on this web site. There different methods of measuring gas supply pressure, if you require further gas or electrical installation information, or to discuss a particular Range just submit our contact form, also available information for every customer or there installer  not available anywhere else on the internet.
